'cross season begins in less than 48 hours

I rolled out the Apex in road mode two weeks ago and have been enjoying it. It's been sharing the wheels and training duty with the Seven and except for breaking a chain west of Madison it has been behaving. The final Tuesday brewery rides are soon, maybe next week, but Wednesdays are still busy. With three 'cross practices to choose from at Lapham Peak, Garner Park and the Garbage Dump I've opted for Garner the last two weeks. It's well attended with easily 30 riders turning laps up, down and around the hill. On the way yesterday I was passing thru UW campus with the Apex on the roof, a fresh haircut and Sir Mix A Lot making the trunk lid thump and the rear view mirror useless. Should there be a law against old white guys blasting old rap?

Dirty Double Cross at Eagle this weekend. Time to hit it.
