Old Skool

Yup, that's an old school.
Today I waited until the rains passed and hopped on the bike around 6. I was going to do a couple of hours, but I got carried away.

Even with rain and fresh pea gravel I was in a good mood.

Bonus points if you can name this former Louis Rich rider. Coming back into Madison we intersected at Timber and Old Sauk and rode in together. He's off to Durango the weekend with the family for a vacation.

There was cute wildlife. I saw a mouse run across the road out by Paoli. I didn't get the camera up in time, but I did see a sombrero.
The Seven has been getting all the icky road time. I should give it bath, but I don't want the chain to break.
There were plenty of domesticated animals to be seen. This Highland steer had an itch on his chin which only barbed wire could satisfy. I like the old wagons parked by the barn.

The roads were shiny all evening. This is west of Paoli.

I saw yet another bear in Dane county.

Does anyone else find this sign suggestive?

It was 9:30 by the time I hit the driveway. Here's the view of Lake Monona.
