Hustlin' for the man

I've been busy, and not busy since starting with the new electrical control company. We've got a few jobs to keep track of so I'm not doing the "daily grind" like I've done with other bigger projects. My project, at least that's the way it is referred to by the JW (Wayne) generally work with, is Badger Prairie Health Care Center in Verona. Wayne is a good shit. He has a simple work ethic: get it done and go home. Well, more accurately it's get it done, go to the tavern(s) and get home. I drive myself to the BPHCC job so I'm fine there. But we have a job south of Madison where we meet at a Park & Ride and travel in the company truck. We pound out the work until we catch up to the HVAC and Electrician's progress which has been roughly 1:00. Then it's off to the bar. Or two. Until nearly 5:00 and then his wife calls and wants to know what bar to meet him at. "Work hard, play hard" should be the bumper sticker on the truck. A week or two ago I figured out what company we were subcontracted to. Turns out I'm trying to get the work done under the estimation Cupcake made. I hope he figured in the bar time.

So ask me how many miles I've logged after work. Yeah...

I've gotten out a couple times after work so I'm not to down on myself. Last Sunday I did a decent 3 hr ride in the wind. So I'm ready for the H8ter today. It looks to be 20 miles shorter than I anticipated so I'll be happy to hang in and socialize. The Axis I picked up last fall will be the tool of choice with the 28c Michelin road slicks for the roll.

I saw Nicky was logging miles on the Hawk. I hope he's above the antics captured below. That's reserved for UW students anyway.
