Long Boarders

Since going back to work the routine has been, well, routine. There's no continuity of work so commuting by Spare bike isn't an option. To deal with that I started taking the Seven with me to work. After work I change clothes and go for a ride since western Dane County is starting at the parking lot of one of the jobs. Yesterday I rode west from Middleton. I hit Vermont Church, Moen Valley, Observatory, Old Sauk, Braun and County P for climbs. It was a nice day for a 40 mile ride. On the way out I was passing Blackhawk Ski hill and there were two kids about TmonT's build with skate boards. The boards were long with wide trucks (at least 8") and slightly larger wheels than I usually see. They were walking up the hill... the recently paved (from last year) fresh smooth hill. I should have had a camera.
