Lapham 'cross WCA #1

Shortly after arriving the French Air Force flew over the parking lot. Were there 'cross races during The Great War?

Since the armistice they no longer engage with douche bags and they passed northward.

Attacking the hill

You, give me that hand-up!

Living the High Life

Sam really wanted to roll in the horse poop but Kerry wouldn't let him.

Kevin and James killing it.

In the end it was James for the win.

Not much to say about my race. The Spare worked well so I can't blame it for anything. The motor was lacking and I had a minor breathing problem after the first lap. I have no idea what my heart rate was but it was deep enough in the red I stopped mid barrier to catch my breath. I went slower for half a lap and my breathing went back to relative normal. Yes, I was able to go slower and not be going backwards. DJon and Ryan were egging me on up the hill. Apparently they thought I should have taken a barley pop earlier than I thought I should. When I ran by there was a "oh no he didn't!" from the crowd when I didn't take the hand-up. I remedied that on the rest of my laps. I put my chin on the bars for the remaining lap and sprinted at the end for an uncontested last place. Sheri was there taking pics as well, but since she's not set up for time-lapse photography she wasn't able to show me moving.
