Riding is becoming second nature. It's ceased to be something to fit into a busy day. I think Co0o0op Camp was the transition. It's now something that's done and without fanfare. Riding with the "fast group" isn't dreaded, it's simply done. Afterwards I felt odd... I drank 2 glasses of water and then I had a beer. The ride was uneventful but taxing. I'm looking forward to the Reforestation Ramble. I may not be "in shape" but I shouldn't suffer as much as the previous races.
While drinking water I had an talk with WPR Reporter Shamane Mills. She recently had a hip replaced after a bad crash bike commuting a few winters ago. I told her she should do 'cross this season, dammit. I'll see if I can't get her to do a feature on the up-coming USGP Cyclocross and some of the local talent.
