Wausau WORS

Most everyone had a better day on the trail than me. No substantial training showed in the first half mile. I did have three positive outcomes today. First was me clearing the Ho Chi Minh climb on the 2nd and 3rd laps after the conga line had cleared. Second was me finding someone's VW keys on the trail so they could head home. I saw them on the 1st lap and thought I'd pick them up on the 2nd. But I didn't see them until the 3rd lap. Finally it was having a good weekend with Karen. She enjoyed riding the trail and once Deep Woods off was applied she was able to hang out with other folks and not need a transfusion afterwards.

Dammit I need to train.

Here's some moments from today.
Tim & Liz calculating the odds of having a flat for both him and Cupcake.
"Yes these are handlebars... my hand goes here."
Russell seeing to Fidel's needs.
Angie being introspective.
Me Having a conversation with the lovely wife of Ryan of Twin 6.
Me before the pain of the trail.
Angie before the start.
Holly and Danielle Musto know a secret... just before throwing away the key.
Ray Ray and the crew.
Elite men before the start. Guess who finished 1st & 2nd.
Mosquitoes on the trail never had a chance.
