They lied!!

Their website said...

Who's the best in the Midwest? Come to La Crosse, WI on June 23rd and find out.

If you don't really care who's the best... Come anyway, hang out with other 1gear riders from around the state, and enjoy the challenge and the trails. You will never forget the riding here!

The race will start at 10:00am sharp (or there abouts) and will be approximately 18 miles in length (2 1/2 laps).

Start Time: 10:00 AM
Registration Fee: $25
Approximate distance: 18(ish) miles, (The winner should finish in approx 1hour & 45minutes)

Rules
The rules are pretty simple.
One bike - One gear - the first One to finish will be the winner.

Male and female categories.

Then today I see the WiSSC Results and I wonder about the 24.85 miles used to calculate the average speed. No wonder I felt tested! 7 extra miles may not seem like much but it sure explains a lot to me.

Oh well, what's done is done. I needed the extra distance anyway. I spend today dicking around TBS and a new roadie shop way out on the west side. then I got home and rode for 90 minutes as hard as I wanted. Which was about 90%.

Tomorrow is the last crit of the season. I intend to win it.
