Beer Run

Last night I met a friend for a beer (2) before heading home. I knew I needed more beer at home so I stopped at Star Liquor for some 1554 & Hopalicous. Upon exiting I nearly tripped over this safely locked steed.

Mostly equipped with a Nuovo Record it's a bargain Cinelli in SLX from the late '80's. I love the saddle, hate the bars. I waited nearly 5 minutes while before the owner came out with his beer. Leif, a late 20's crunchy granola-type, was eager to brag about his Cinelli. He knew what he has and appreciates not just what it is, but how it rides.

For being better than 20 years old it was in great shape. I'm glad it's not hanging in a garage somewhere going unused.
