Not being gainfully employed I have no sense of urgency and making the most of my money is instinctual. So going to the annual swap meet seemed like a good idea. For me there are 3 reasons to go to a bike swap. Obviously it's cool to buy the neat bits at a silly price, but there's valuable entertainment to be had interacting with the sellers. Each thinks their neat bit is worth much more than you're willing to pay and it's almost like going shopping in Juarez. The last reason is to see and be with friends.
Maciej was pushing the peanut butter cookies
Next door was Ron and Kelli
When Kid Rock (Chris) wasn't signing autographs he was handing out "cream soda"
Post-swap food was at the Glass Nickel back in the 'hood.
I had to shoot fast to keep Russell from photo-bombing
while Co0o0op was texting Kyle.
Rob and Candy were swapping, but didn't do lunch with us.
Bubba had his fangs retracted in anticipation of the pizza.
Megatron was deeply lost in thought, perhaps about V3.0
V3.0 has the hoopty goin' on y'all.
I think the massive Tach on the dash allows him to keep the speed
low enough so bikes don't fall off the Bones rack.
The Peace Sign sticker detracts 5hp, yo.
The receipts submitted to the accountant showed: $3 for parking, $7 admission, $15 for the new cranks, $15 for 3 seat bags, $10 for the Vittoria tubular and Trek seat, $20 for the Bonti Race bar and RL stem, $5 for the Ritchey bar, $20 for two pair of Eggbeater Candy's with new cleats, $20 for the Pro stem and $5 for the Easton stem. Not a bad day to spend a day.
