Turn the knob to 11

stuff and grief

Seph had a good futbol season ending with a 6-0-2 record. The season ending 3 v 3 tournament was good and bad. It was supposed to be girls against girls and boys against boys, but there were only 3 girls teams with a 6 game tourney. She and 4 teammates beat all the other girls teams, but lost to two very strong boys teams (which were defeated by our boys) One team, the Red Tigers, played dirty and threw a lot of elbows at everyone. Sephie played respectably and didn't retaliate, but she did ask permission if she could after half-time. I told her she could, but only if Coach Dan gave her permission too. He reluctantly denied her permission.

In family news, my Grandma passed away after a long battle with alzheimers. Her house was a cycling destination for me when I lived in Dodgeville. Grandpa passed in 1986 so my dad has just his siblings. Not much to say to others outside the family other than she'll be missed.
