Turn the knob to 11

So much for it being exciting

Sunday was exciting. I was able to find tickets that afforded a great view of the field. They were in the clubhouse level which means they were enclosed and protected from the elements... if there had been any. It was a beautiful day for football, or any outdoor sport for that matter. Clear skies and temps in the mid-40's made the walk to "hallowed" Lambeau Field festive.

While I'd have like the Cowboys to have defeated the Packers the game played out differently. I'll have to review the recording but from what I saw neither team deserved to win. The Packers were able to walk away with a 17-7 win, but as far as I'm concerned the Packers shut out the Cowboys.

I was impressed with the way the fans of the Packers treated the fans of the Cowboys. The yahoos on WAPL were bad-mouthing the "hated Cowboys" and using other rude terms and comments about the team on the radio while we drove up. Once there the fans were quite well behaved.

I'd like to return to Lambeau for another Cowboy's game, but I'd like to sit outside in the elements.

Dude.
Outside in the elements is the ONLY way to experience football at Lambeau Field. When I saw the Packers beat the Colts back in 2000, it was just above freezing and sleeting. I loved every second of it.
