Late November in Wisconsin has many faces. 'Cross season wraps up. Professional shoppers gear up for Black Friday. People start wearing blaze orange outside of Lambeau Field. This is also the week when folks silently slip into woods with the primal urge to kill. Eyeing the prey at a distance but patiently waiting for just the right one, they quietly stalk the forest. When the moment is right an instrument of death is wielded and the prey falls. Unceremoniously it is dragged to the car and tied to the roof.
I'll be looking for a well rounded 8 pointer... er, 8 footer. I prefer Fraser Firs for their softer needles and deep green hue.

Every year you can find tons of those out by the curb.
Free is good, It's all in the timing.
