Area youth masters centrifugal forces

If you're a kid in my neighborhood it has been an exciting week. The Bonjour's had cause to celebrate when Oliver's training wheels were removed. He'd been wearing the training wheels down so Matt took the chance that Oliver was ready. He was quite ready.
Oliver shows how he rolls.

Wedged in the middle of the field.

Sunday I may have been stinking up the trails but Sephie had a much better day. She asked if she could race at Kewaskum. I was following at the rear with Cupcake but I was able to see her at various points along the course. She hasn't quite learned to give it 100% but she was rolling along having a good time. Better still another kid lost his water bottle during the race and she offered up her water. Most adult racers would have ignored a waterless racer or even thought "ha ha, sucks to be you" and rode on. But not Sephie. I'm quite proud that she shared her water and thought nothing of whatever time she was losing to Marilee. I'm really glad she was rewarded with
A talented podium. Marilee (2nd) & Sephie (3rd) representing  The Muddy Cup.

After getting tangled up at the start she wasn't in a big hurry.

She looks somewhat motivated

Not so much on the uphill.

"hey Kool-Aid!" 29er hat, T6 Metal kit... What other flavors need drinking?

She looks fine climbing here.

Bringing it in.
