Productivity

Having amassed most of the parts to make the conversion worth while I got started on swapping the Sachs group from the Vitus 787 Futural to the Lemond Victoire Classic. I need a front derailleur, 9 speed chain and the handlebars wrapped and then it's ready. Ready for what? How about the H8er H.O.T.S. ride? On a whim I put the wheels bearing the cross tires in and there's plenty of clearance. I mean PLENTY of clearance. I had thought that my bike would be the Flyte in SS Cyclocross form. A couple of H8er trail shake downs and I'll be able to make a decision.

That's one less bike to work on.

The other topic of the day is work related. I'm not going to have a celebration yet as I kind of got burned the last time I thought I had work and it fell through at the last minute. Potentially I could be working Monday evening. The middle school in Sun Prairie is undergoing a remodel once all the kids go home for the day. A contractor from Beloit has the job and need an electrician who is going to show up in the afternoon after riding 3 or 4 hours each day. I was the logical choice for the job.

So my 6 month, 2 day vacation is at an end.

Wait until Tuesday to yell "Yippie!"

I mean it...
