After putting the more narrow IRC Mythos CX's on last night I didn't expect them to be leaky today. I loaded up Karen's mountainbike and the Flyte and we were off to CamRock this morning. I'd aired the tires up before loading the bikes up but when we cot to the trail head the rear was more than a little soft. It was rideable but only at slower speeds... which allowed the two of us to ride together most of the time. If the race Saturday is like it was 10 years ago when I did it last I'll be fine. The gearing I ran today was perfect and just in case I rode the trail backwards. Karen worked on her 'cross dismounts and I thought for sure she'd be getting a one day license for the Women's race... but by her own admission she's too chicken to race. I think she'd be fine.
Anyway, I got in 90 minutes of getting to know the course so I'm content.
