Turn the knob to 11

Eat your greens and you'll grow up big and strong.

Some images from the last few days...

It only looks like a SunRingle rim. Heading over to do the Needles Highway.

One of the many uphill switchbacks of the Needles Highway.

While I was riding the Wildlife Loop the girls were trail riding all afternoon.

The Cathedral Spires in the background. We climbed Lil' Devil's Tower that day.

Here we are at the top. I figured out the timer. We were watching a ground squirrel as he headed over toward the camera.

On my way back to Custer I was passed by something noisy from Wisco and it wasn't Randy.

The Crazy Horse Monument.

The view from the Firehouse Brewery patio.

Yesterday I did the Wildlife Loop and came back up Mt Coolidge and back over to the camp. 37 miles in all but the ball-breaker for me was the 3+ miles uphill to Mt Coolidge with 1200 ft of elevation gain. 39x25 the whole way at ~8mph. To make matters worse, as I was nearing the summit a bee hit my tongue stinger first. I'm not allergic to bees but I did get to meet a couple from Whitewater when I asked if there was any stinger left in my tongue. The 48 mph descent took the sting out of the uphill.

I might go up to RC and ride St Martin's Trail tonight with the local club. We're doing laundry now so I'd better get back in time to help fold clothes. I'm digging the Man-pris.
